New Year's Eve was pretty special for our family.
Both of our boys were baptized, and to top it off, their dad had the honor to baptize them.
It was a sweet night for us.
Christmas night, the boys decided that they wanted to get baptized {how good is God to do that?!} They both had asked Jesus into their heart at different times in the last couple years.
Being baptized was definitely a decision I wanted left up to them. I never wanted to push them or persuade them in any way.
Wanted it totally led by the Holy Spirit, when they were ready.
They were the first 2 to be baptized in our church.
They got to be the guinea pigs.
We hadn't quite figured out how to heat the water.
The guys boiled pots of water all day and poured it in the horse trough..but it was still f-f-f-freezing cold.
We joked that the boys got to join the "polar bear club" too.
L.O.V.E. this picture.
The joy on my husband's face and my sweet boy smiling back at him!
They were so excited to show everyone that they are followers of Jesus-even though they're not huge fans of getting up in front of crowds! So proud of them!
We were surrounded by grandparents, great-grandparents and dear friends.
The Mr. and I are still overwhelmed by God's goodness.
We have prayed since our boys were in the womb that they would come to know Jesus and that God would be gracious enough to let that happen at a young age.
So thankful that He answered this prayer for us.

What an awesome day! Cade and Riley did the same our last Sunday in Farmington. I wanted them to be with friends and family. they had been asking for months, but we wanted them to go through new belivers first. How is the adoption process coming?
Cat - this is beautiful :) I'm so grateful to see God's provision for your lil' men. They will be warriors! We pray this for Alexa's life too. Thank you for encouraging us in this endeavor.
